Stars Wars to Heaven
On The 16th of September Star Wars: The Complete Saga set was released in
blu-ray format 7 years after the previous release. I was thinking about it the other day – In the end we are going to end up with all the raw footage of stars wars, including all the thousands of hours that Lucas filmed and never met the big screen, so George save us time from adding better digitized sound effects, a greener master Yoda, and release all the hours you filmed and we will do the editing for you. There will be endless versions of your master piece. What would happen if Led-Zeppelin decided to release every few years a version of “Stairway to Heaven”?
What next? 3D re-release of Star Wars: Episode 1 scheduled for February 2012, it’s probably only a matter of time before LucasFilm’s releases the 3D film versions as, given their turn-around time on prior releases, a digital download, holo-disc, or whatever fancy new tech we’re using in 2018.
